Yquem in the eye of…Tom Claeren
We called upon the talented dream designer, Tom Claeren, to stage Yquem 2013, 2014 and 2015. Three short films made on the French Riviera to highlight three vintages.
It all begins in black and white in the Sauternes region. A mysterious rider rides his horse onto the grounds of the Château and enters Yquem’s most secret place: the cellar.
The viewer is then propelled into the enchanting and idyllic setting of Saint Jean Cap-Ferrat, where the universality of Yquem is fully expressed.
The light of the deep blue sea, the immaculate white of a sailboat, the roses of a sun setting over the bay of the principality of Monaco reflects the beauty with the gold of the “nectar of the gods”.
Without piercing its mysteries, Tom has captured the magic of Yquem. His luminous and elegant interpretation nourishes this myth that has endured for 400 years, with an audience eager for content that combines the magic of the moment with the art of living.
